I am Barbara Forberg, solo Bookkeeper-Extraordinaire of Beautifully Balanced Books Inc.

A little about me .... I have been keeping books from home for almost 20 years. After 15 years of paper-based work I made the move to online bookkeeping a few years ago. It has been a game changer! It allowed me to clear my physical space of chaos and shift my focus to my work. Everything became caught up for the first time ever. All of my clients moved to monthly paperwork submission and fee payment. No more quarterly or longer paperwork bombs. As 2024 came to a close I had a consistent monthly work/cash flow that I could actually budget my life around.
My goal is not to build a bookkeeping empire or snag people on a crazy CFO scheme. I want to work with a manageable volume of clients who share my love for routine which will allow me that semi-nomadic sun and music chasing bookkeeper lifestyle that I have been dreaming of but could never plan for. In my spare time I love to make homemade soaps (page coming), hang out with my pups Dixie & Dennis, and escape to my beloved music festivals in sunny destinations or at sea.
